Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Feed Aide/CNA-Days and play a vital role in delivering compassionate nutritional support to our residents. In this position, you will assist in meal preparation and feeding for our residents who require additional assistance. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure our residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals that meet all dietary requirements. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and feeding meals to residents according to established dietary guidelines Ensure all food handling and preparation practices adhere to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy items or supplies to prevent injury Skills CNA certification is required for this role Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of meal preparation, and food safety procedures (including
DHSS/CMS
standards) Ability to work efficiently with time management skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude toward geriatric patients or residents Basic math skills for portioning, measuring ingredients, and charting intakes Knowledge of dietary requirements adherence and nutrition principles for older adults or special diets Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions and protocols CPR certification or willingness to obtain it is preferred for emergency preparedness

From $16.00 per hour
