Job Description
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in vulnerability management, endpoint engineering, IT security operations, or a closely related field — with at least 1-2 years leading a team or formally mentoring others
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable or similar), including scan design, prioritization, and remediation tracking
- Experience supporting CMMC, FedRAMP, or other regulated/public sector compliance frameworks
- Strong experience with RMM/endpoint management tools (NinjaOne, Ivanti Neurons, Microsoft Intune, or similar) in Windows and macOS environments
- Experience with DevOps-style workflows
- Experience with Agile frameworks
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable building dashboards and reporting using Tenable, AI tools, and Excel
- Excellent written communication and executive presence; able to translate vulnerability data into recommendations leadership and auditors can act on
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members; comfortable holding 1:1s and setting team priorities
Must be eligible to support a U.S. Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) environment; U.S. citizenship or other eligibility requirements may apply Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $114,000 to $142,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay. The well-being of WWT employees is essential. What will you be doing? The Team Lead, EUC Public Sector leads our team of EUC Analysts and Engineers supporting the GCC High (GCCH) public sector environment.
The Lead is a player-coach:
still hands-on with vulnerability management and device configuration, but also responsible for setting standards, coaching the analyst and engineer team, and being the senior voice in the room for public sector leadership and compliance stakeholder conversations. This role owns the GCCH End User Computing environment end-to-end, including management of Windows, Mac, iOS, and VDI, as well as the vulnerability management program for that environment.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership Lead a team of Analysts and Engineers supporting the GCCH environment: set priorities, coach on analytical rigor, run 1:1s, develop talent, and hold the bar on quality of work
- Own the team's operating cadence — intake, prioritization, work-in-progress visibility, and delivery against SLAs
- Represent the End User Computing function to public sector leadership; translate executive direction into clear work for the team Device Configuration and Management Own the end-user device experience for Public Sector, from initial setup through final configuration and software deployment
- Own software and security tool packaging and deployment across the GCCH device fleet using Microsoft Intune, and related platforms
- Set configuration baselines and standards and ensure consistent, compliant device builds
Ensure the device fleet is performant, reliable, and meets business needs across Windows, Mac, iOS, and VDI Vulnerability Management & Remediation Own the GCCH vulnerability management lifecycle: prioritization methodology, end-user and system-owner outreach, and remediation tracking through closure
Ensure vulnerability thresholds and SLAs are being met for the GCCH environment, escalating aging or high-risk findings as needed
Partner with engineering and security teams to deploy and validate patches and remediation for identified vulnerabilities Compliance & Governance Own CMMC compliance, audits, and security governance for the End User Computing GCCH environment, ensuring required fixes and controls are implemented and documented
Maintain SOPs, governance documentation, and evidence needed to demonstrate compliance to auditors and public sector stakeholders Reporting & Stakeholder Management Own vulnerability posture reporting and dashboards, translating findings into a clear, defensible narrative
Build and maintain relationships with public sector program stakeholders, IT teams, and Information Security teams
