Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Evening Shift(2P-10P) , where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. This vital role involves providing high-quality support to diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as memory or hospice care. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe movement of patients. Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding medical records with precision. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies to enhance their well-being. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient service. Requirements Valid CNA certification with current state licensing Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as PointClickCare for accurate medical documentation. Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, individuals with dementia/azlheimers, or those requiring hospice. Knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic technique, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (CPR). Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices and assistive devices like Hoyer lifts. Strong caregiver communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform caregiving tasks for extended periods during the shift.
