Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help patients with mobility, positioning, transfers, and ambulation. Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team. Assist patients with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed. Maintain patient comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy at all times. Observe and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition. Keep patient rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked. Document care provided according to facility policies. Support nurses with routine patient care and clinical tasks within scope of practice. Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and healthcare regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) An active, current CNA license in applicable state or reciprocation and must be in good standing BLS through American Heart Association or equivalent Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
