Nursing Assistant Job Description Overview Christian Companions Senior Care are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants/ Caregivers with CNA skills to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and facilities catering to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you assist. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Homemaker services such as light housekeeping and preparing meals. Transportation to doctor appointments or errands. Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals. Perform first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies. Ensure cleanliness and safety in the living environment by adhering to health protocols. Requirements 2 years of Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A caring demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and assisting patients as needed.
