CNA - Night Shift (NOC)
Pay:
$23.00-$28.00 per hour Job Summary Lakeview Rehab and Nursing is hiring CNAs for our night (NOC) shift! Looking for a job where you can make a difference, build valuable healthcare experience, and be part of a team that gets to know the people you care for? Lakeview Rehab and Nursing is looking for compassionate, dependable people to join our overnight nursing team as CNAs. Not a CNA yet? That's okay — we'll help you become one. CNA certification is preferred, but you do not need to be a certified CNA to apply. Lakeview will pay for your CNA class and help you through the certification process. Several different course options are available, giving you flexibility in finding a path that works for you. This is a great opportunity to get started in healthcare, earn your CNA certification, gain hands-on experience, and build skills that can lead to future opportunities in nursing and healthcare. Responsibilities Provide resident care during the overnight/NOC shift. Help residents with activities such as toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility. Assist residents with transfers and safely use equipment such as mechanical lifts. Take and record vital signs. Help residents remain comfortable, clean, safe, and as independent as possible. Respond to resident needs and call lights throughout the shift. Communicate changes or concerns to nurses. Work alongside nurses, CNAs, and other team members to provide great resident care. Document care according to facility requirements. Qualifications CNA certification is preferred, but not required . No certification yet? Lakeview Rehab and Nursing will pay for your CNA class and help you through the certification process. Several CNA course options are available to help you find an option that works for you. Ability and willingness to work the night/NOC shift . A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Dependability and good communication skills. Compassion and patience when working with older adults. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including assisting residents with mobility and transfers. Previous healthcare or caregiving experience is helpful, but you don't need years of healthcare experience to apply.
