Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). CNAs support patients with daily living activities and ensure comfort, safety, and dignity in both Long Term Care (LTC) and Acute Care settings. CNA•Long Term Care (LTC)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning Monitor and record vital signs Assist with feeding and hydration Observe and report changes in resident condition Provide emotional support and companionship CNA•
Acute Care Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities in hospital settings Monitor vital signs and intake/output Support nurses during procedures Maintain patient safety and infection control standards Transport patients within the facility Respond promptly to patient needs
Required Qualifications:
Active CNA certification BLS certification (preferred) Basic patient care skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments
