Position Overview:

We are looking for dedicated and flexible PCAs, CNAs, and Medication Technicians to fill vital PRN roles. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure continuous, seamless care for our residents by stepping in to cover staff call-outs and short-notice vacancies. This role is perfect for healthcare professionals or nursing students looking for ultimate schedule flexibility while making a meaningful impact.

Key Requirements & Scheduling Flexibility:

Minimum Commitment:

Must work a minimum of one (1) shift per month to remain active on the roster.

Primary Role:

Provide critical coverage for planned and unplanned staff absences (call-outs).

Shift Availability:

Options include day, evening, and night shifts. High availability for short-notice notifications is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Caregiving Duties (All Roles): Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Respond to call lights promptly. Medication Administration (MT Role Only): Safely and accurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and state regulations.

Monitoring & Documentation:

Observe residents for any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition and promptly report findings to the supervising nurse.

Environment:

Assist with light housekeeping, tidying resident rooms, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free care environment.

Compliance:

Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and privacy standards (HIPAA).

Qualifications:

For PCAs:

Completion of an approved personal care training program or equivalent verified caregiving experience.

For CNAs:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus a current, unencumbered state Certified Nursing Assistant certification.

For MTs:

Valid state Medication Technician / Medication Aide certification in good standing. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Must be reliable, responsible, and able to adapt quickly to different shift assignments and routines. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 20.0 per week
