Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates when needed Support medical procedures by preparing patients,and reminding them of their medications. Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly, ensuring timely interventions. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation of care provided. Skills Proven experience working with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring dementia or memory care. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (CPR) procedures. Experience providing specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, hospice support experience is highly valued. Strong caregiver communication skills with the ability to connect compassionately with patients of all ages including elderly. Demonstrated understanding of infection control practices such as aseptic technique and working within HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.
