Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and record vital signs accurately while maintaining detailed medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care activities and behavioral health support. Assist with invasive procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy while maintaining infection control standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices properly. Support patients in home & community settings or outpatient clinics by delivering compassionate caregiving tailored to individual needs. Qualifications Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by the state or relevant licensing authority. Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center experience preferred), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar EHR platforms for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care. Experience with specialized care areas such as dementia care, hospice care, behavioral health, or pediatric nursing is highly desirable. Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and support medication administration following safety protocols. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
