Full-Time Job Summary PrimeHealth Hendersonville is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient private practice team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, team-oriented, and willing to help wherever needed to provide an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medication histories, and relevant medical information Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist the physician with in-office procedures and clinical needs Perform injections, EKGs, specimen collection, and other clinical duties within scope of practice Assist with laboratory orders, referrals, prescription refills, and prior authorizations Answer phones and communicate with patients in a professional and compassionate manner Provide patient education and follow-up as directed Accurately document patient information in the EMR Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms Assist with inventory and ordering of clinical supplies Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience Work collaboratively with the entire practice team May be required to float to other PrimeHealth offices as needed to provide staffing support Qualifications Current CMA certification or LPN license in good standing Previous outpatient or medical office experience preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy outpatient environment Dependable, accountable, and willing to take initiative Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Comfortable learning and working with EMR and other computer systems Flexibility and willingness to work at other office locations as needed Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who truly enjoys working with patients, takes pride in providing excellent care and service, and is willing to step in wherever needed.
