A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require completion of a regional agency-approved training program in order to obtain a certification before practicing.

Work Schedule:
Night Shift, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM What You'll Do Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and personal care Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information Monitor and record intake and output as directed Support patient comfort, positioning, and safety Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team Assist nursing staff with patient-care activities within your scope of practice Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient-care environment Promote patient dignity, independence, and an exceptional patient experience
What We're Looking For Education:

One year preferred.
Assisted Living facilities only:
One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
Licensure/certification/registration:
Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.
Additional skills preferred:
