Job Description

We're looking for dependable, compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide in-home and residential care on weekends. This role focuses on helping clients with their daily needs while promoting safety, dignity, comfort, and as much independence as possible. Key Responsibilities Caregivers will follow each client's individualized care plan and work in coordination with the Nurse Manager and care team.
Duties may include:
Offer companionship and encouragement throughout the day. Help with mobility, including walking, transfers, repositioning, and wheelchair assistance. Assist with grocery trips, meal planning, and preparing meals. Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene. Complete light housekeeping, laundry, organizing, and other tasks that help maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide medication reminders and support self-administration when allowed. Observe clients for changes in their condition and communicate concerns appropriately, including monitoring intake and output when assigned. Assist with transportation to medical appointments and other necessary errands. Care Documentation & Team Communication Accurate documentation and communication are an important part of this position.
Caregivers are responsible for:
Recording services and shift times through the company's EVV/timekeeping system. Reporting any health, safety, behavioral, or other client concerns to the supervising nurse or management. Attending required meetings and completing annual in-service education, including a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education. Ideal Candidate We are seeking someone who is caring, responsible, professional, and genuinely committed to providing quality client-centered care. Candidates should be able to work independently, follow care instructions, communicate effectively with the care team, and respect client confidentiality and dignity. Qualifications & Preferred Experience Previous professional experience providing care to seniors or adults is preferred. Experience with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive conditions is a plus. Comfortable using a smartphone, email, and basic electronic systems for scheduling and documentation. Knowledge of home care procedures and applicable state requirements. Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work in a variety of settings, including clients' private residences and assisted living communities. Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining client privacy. Physical Requirements & Work Setting This is an on-site caregiving position. Services are provided in clients' homes and other community-based care settings. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, repositioning, and assisting clients with transfers. Candidates must be physically able to safely assist with lifts of up to 250 pounds using appropriate equipment, assistance, and safe caregiving techniques when necessary. Remote work is not available for this position. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid PCA certification or an active/current CNA license. At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Current auto insurance. Current TB screening or acceptable clearance documentation.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
