A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require completion of a regional agency-approved training program in order to obtain a certification before practicing.

Your Role:
Personal Care:
Provide essential care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, with respect and sensitivity.
Observation and Reporting:
Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team.
Emotional Support:
Offer a comforting presence and a listening ear to patients and their families, helping them navigate through challenging times.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided and observations made.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement comprehensive and coordinated care plans.

Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm A rotating weekend schedule, working every 6th weekend, ensuring a fair balance of responsibilities across the team.
Qualifications:
Current CNA certification in North Carolina Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
