Job Description

  • CNA Transportation Aide
  • Join the Westfield Quality Care of Aurora team and make a difference in the lives of our residents!
  • Located in Aurora, NE, our long-term nursing facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care and compassion to our patients. As a CNA Transportation Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transfer of our residents to and from appointments, treatments, and outings.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist with transportation of residents to and from appointments, treatments, and outings, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure timely arrival at destinations
  • Perform vital sign checks and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and resident care
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Requirements:
  • Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Nebraska
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
