Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor vital signs regularly and report any abnormalities to nursing staff promptly. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Facilitate patient transfers using appropriate methods to ensure safety and comfort. Provide compassionate care tailored to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments. Assist with specialized care needs such as catheter care, wound care, and infection control practices. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver comprehensive patient service.
