Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The LNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and support the healthcare team in delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, intake and output, and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Assist with patient transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises using safe patient handling techniques
- Provide emotional support and maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy
- Assist nurses with admissions, discharges, and patient care procedures
- Collect specimens and perform routine patient care tasks within the scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care
- Respond promptly to patient requests and communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare team member
- Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment

Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification/license in the state of practice
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent LNA or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection prevention practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
