Experience:
- 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
- 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
- 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
- Trauma Level 1 experience is required with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required. Must have telemetry experience. Experience with chest tubes, tubes, drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone, lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, trachs/laryngectomies, complex wounds, and central line care/maintenance with blood draws required.
Unit Details:
Primarily medical rather than surgical patients, including sepsis, infectious processes, acute kidney injury or chronic kidney disease (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), diabetes, GI issues, fluid/electrolyte imbalances, alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, endocarditis, heart disease, skin/wound issues, and acute/chronic respiratory illness including COPD, flu, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis. Adult cystic fibrosis patients requiring admission are cared for on Medical Specialties.
Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating 12-hour shifts: 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.
Flexible contract hours:
36 or 48 per week. On-call required.
Special Requests:
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility).
Example:
if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility. 7 days maximum time off 2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required Proof of identification required for submission
