9666098-03079 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of young students as a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant. This essential position offers the opportunity to provide direct care and support to 5th-grade students with complex medical needs in a dynamic school setting. This is a full-time, interim role with immediate start, continuing until further notice, with vital responsibilities both during the academic day and while accompanying students on bus routes.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours Includes both school day and bus transportation duties
Key Qualifications:
Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) license (required) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential strongly preferred Prior experience supporting elementary school-aged children with significant medical needs Demonstrated competence working in a 2:1 care environment Ability and willingness to provide supervision and assistance during student transport, including bus riding Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach Excellent organization and adaptability to dynamic school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on, direct care for student(s) with medical complexities during class and transit times Monitor health conditions and respond promptly to student needs throughout the day Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to ensure safety, comfort, and wellbeing of assigned students Maintain organized documentation of care and communication Uphold a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, contributing to positive academic experiences This is a valuable opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a rewarding educational environment.
