Non-Exempt SUMMARY The C N A functions under the supervision of the RN or LPN in providing direct resident care activities utilizing the proper nursing process. Always remembering this is the home of the sisters and residents. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

include the following. As a certified nursing assistant, you are responsible to provide basic nursing care and resident care tasks to ensure that each resident receives the comprehensive and individualized care. You are delegated the responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Other duties may be assigned and in no way states or implies that these are the only duties you will be required to perform. Acknowledges, adopts, and support the mission, values and vision/of the Sisters of St. Dominic. Works under the supervision of RN, LPN to perform and provide direct resident care basic nursing duties Assist residents to carry out personal care activities, such as mouth care, bathing, dressing, use of toilet, transports residents to meals then prepares the meal trays and assist in eating and restorative care functions Completes ALL documentation on electronic medical record. Follows Infection Control policies and procedures at all times including standard precautions and use of PPE as needed Monitors for resident safety at all times and complies with established safety precautions at all times. Ensure resident room/ area is clean including bathroom and shower area Recommends to the DON the equipment and supplies needed of the department. Shares ideas and suggestions to improve resident care. Informs the nurse of any changes in the resident's condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan. Ensures resident rights are followed including privacy, confidentiality, prevention of and/or reporting of abuse Participates in QAPI and related committees as assigned

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION

Successful completion the Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Facilities Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) C N A Certification that is active and in good standing with the State's Registry ADA Requirements Candidates will have the physical ability to perform job related duties which may require lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs or more as needed

PRE REQUISITES A

physical exam, drug screen, and background screening are required as appropriate. St Catherine of Siena Inc., minimum requirement is its employees to be "fully vaccinated" defined as received the Covid-19 vaccine primary series. The preferred standard of "Up to date" is completed primary vaccine series plus the most recent booster recommended by
