As a Nursing Assistant, you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You'll assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Your attention, empathy, and teamwork help restore comfort and dignity for every patient you serve and make our mission to improve lives a reality each day. As a Nursing Assistant, a typical day may include: Assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing nursing care to patients including taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care.
Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track patient health status
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to facility policies
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and address concerns
Support emergency response efforts by applying Basic Life Support (BLS) skills such as CPR when needed in acute situations
Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients
Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions
Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient's care

Continuous learning and growth matter to you To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a a current American Heart Association BLS certification. Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program is preferred or a CNA certificate.
