Potential for ongoing classes. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) that has 2 years of RN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) care to serve as an Instructor for Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) classes. This vital role involves preparing aspiring CNAs with comprehensive clinical and theoretical knowledge, ensuring they meet all educational and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for teaching, extensive nursing expertise, and a commitment to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals. Duties Deliver engaging classroom lectures and practical training sessions aligned with curriculum standards for CNA certification (we will train you) Supervise students during clinical rotations in long-term care facilities Ensure compliance with educational regulations, accreditation standards, and healthcare industry requirements throughout the training program. Review student documentation, skills checklists, and care plans to assess competency and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Monitor student engagement with learning technology tools and adapt instructional methods accordingly to maximize understanding. Requirements Valid NJ RN license with 2 years of experience in skilled nursing Strong knowledge of nursing administration, patient care procedures, care plans, and healthcare regulations governing CNA programs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on research findings and current healthcare practices while maintaining high standards of educational excellence.
