We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) practice providing consultative care in skilled nursing facilities. This position offers a flexible weekday or weekend schedule and the opportunity to work closely with board-certified PM&R physicians, therapy teams, nursing staff, and facility providers to improve rehabilitation outcomes for post-acute and long-term care patients. Position Responsibilities Perform rehabilitation-focused evaluations and follow-up visits in skilled nursing facilities. Assess and manage conditions affecting mobility, function, pain, spasticity, musculoskeletal health, and rehabilitation progress. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising PM&R physicians. Provide recommendations to attending and Internal Medicine providers regarding rehabilitation and functional needs. Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment recommendations as appropriate. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning. Complete timely, accurate, and compliant electronic medical record documentation. Communicate effectively with physicians, facility staff, therapists, patients, and families.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current PA-C certification. Active state Physician Assistant license. DEA registration. NM Board of Pharmacy registration. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to practice independently while collaborating closely with supervising physicians.

Pay:
$55.77 - $80.29 per hour Expected hours: 9.0 - 40.0 per week
