About the Role As a Certified Nurse Assistant with Corus Health in Albuquerque, you'll provide hands-on hospice care to residents of Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center, bringing dignity, comfort, and steady support to patients and families during one of life's most meaningful chapters. This role is a great fit for CNAs who live near Laguna Rainbow and want consistent, community-based work close to home. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care services in accordance with each patient's plan of care, under the supervision of a licensed nurse Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and feeding Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition or care needs to supervising staff Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and safety Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in the EMR Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Requirements:
What We're Looking For Current certification as a Nurse Aide in the state of New Mexico Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program At least one year of experience preferred; hospice or home health experience a plus Someone who brings compassion, patience, and steadiness to every interaction Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license CNAs living near Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center are especially encouraged to apply Why Join Us At Corus Health, hospice care means walking alongside patients and families with steadiness, clarity, and courage.
