Overview Classen Home Health is seeking compassionate, professional, dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in their homes. Full time and part time hours are available, with cases in Tompkins, Cortland, Tioga, and Cayuga counties. PCA, HHA, and/or CNA certification highly preferred. Join the leading homecare team in the area today! Responsibilities Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility assistance. Monitor clients to ensure their good health and report any concerns to nursing staff promptly. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia through specialized techniques and compassionate engagement. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices safely and effectively. Provide companionship and emotional support. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal prep. Drive your client to the grocery store, a doctor's appointment, or other errands. Support clients during hospice care or end-of-life situations with dignity, respect, and empathy. Qualifications Prior experience in homecare and/or a long-term care facility like nursing homes or assisted living communities is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with the elderly and/or disabled. Ability to perform physical tasks, including light housekeeping and assisting clients with ambulation. PCA, HHA, and/or CNA certification preferred.
