First Presbyterian Church of Ithaca is looking for someone to care for our children ages 0-4 during worship 9:00-11:00am (additional hours available on occasion). You will be starting in this position in early September. We need someone who is loving, patient, outgoing and enjoys working with children from infant to toddler age. Must be 18 or older and willing to have a background check. You will not be responsible for any religious education with the children.

Responsibilities:

Helping parents transition at drop off (goodbye's are hard for some little ones) Supporting Potty training/ diaper changing Playing with children Offering snack Ensuring that children are playing safely and practicing good behaviors Not being distracted by personal technology like internet/game/texting etc. Ensuring children are signed out by their proper guardian Light cleaning up after the children Reporting any bumps or incidents to parents and supervisor Must be able to climb stairs, lift 15 lbs and be able to communicate with the parents and children clearly. •First Aid/ CPR training is a bonus This church community is affirming and supports its LGBTQ members and families. Pay:

$17.00 - $18.50 per hour
