As an STNA in an LTC/SNF setting, your responsibilities will include:Personal Care:
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Mobility Assistance:
Help residents with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using wheelchairs.Vital Signs Monitoring:
Check and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.Meal Assistance:
Support residents during meal times, including feeding those who need help.Companionship:
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.Documentation:
Accurately document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff.Health Monitoring:
Observe residents for any changes in health status and communicate these to the nursing team.Environment Maintenance:
Ensure residents' rooms and common areas are clean and safe.Requirements:
Licensure:
Must have an active Ohio STNA license.Experience:
