Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist with daily patient activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes to nursing staff promptly. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring accurate documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Provide specialized care for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments, utilizing techniques like dementia care and memory care strategies. Maintain aseptic technique during procedures such as catheter care and phlebotomy to prevent infection. Assist with complex clinical procedures including wound care, infection control measures, and emergency response protocols aligned with Level I Trauma Center standards. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as long-term care facilities and assisted living Support patients across diverse environments including inpatient, outpatient, home & community care, and sub-acute settings. Qualifications Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant certification or equivalent licensure required. Experience working in various healthcare settings such as hospitals (including ICU, emergency medicine), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care is highly desirable. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care preferred. Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care.
