The Transport Aide's primary responsibility is to assist with transporting residents to and from our facility in a pleasant and helpful manner. We want all those who stay with us to have a great experience! Responsibilities and Purpose Assist staff members in moving residents on and off beds to the appropriate transportation device. Use a variety of resident supporting equipment according to nursing or physician instructions. Use transportation devices (wheelchairs, etc) in accordance to established safety practices. Ensure residents are properly attired and covered for warmth, modesty, and comfort during transportation. As applicable, transports residents using wheelchair between their room and other rooms in the facility. Desired Experience and Education Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
