We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our veterinary team during our night shift. In this role, you will assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing high-quality care to our furry patients. Your responsibilities will involve both clinical and administrative tasks, making this an integral position within our hospital.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and handling of animals for examinations and treatments. Monitor and record vital signs and behaviors of pets during their stay. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising. Assist in administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian or veterinary technician. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care and treatment plans. Support the team in various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required. Passion for animal care and welfare. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to learn and take direction from veterinarians and technicians.Physical Requirements:
