Bradford Ecumenical Home, Inc. is a Continuing Care Retirement Community offering the full range of senior living services, including independent living, personal care, dementia care, and skilled nursing. We are currently seeking dedicated, motivated candidates to add to our growing team! We are currently hiring CNA's for full and part time positions for 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am shifts.

Job Duties:

Assist nursing personnel in providing non-professional nursing care to residents under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Responsible for the care of assigned residents, tidiness of resident room, personal effects and linens. Answer call lights for all residents regardless of assignment. Assist co-workers as needed to foster teamwork environment. Assist in the admission and discharge of residents. Complete height, weight and personal possession sheets. Have dentures, glasses, and hearing aides identified. Assist or provide total personal hygiene (i.e. haircare, shampoos, nails, oral hygiene, dressing, therapeutic restorative exercises, foley care, ostomies, etc.) Give baths, showers, tub baths, whirlpools, partial baths, or sitz baths as required. Keep shower rooms tidy, returning personal care items to resident rooms after care. Make beds, occupied or unoccupied, utilizing the proper amount of linens and supplies. Offer, empty, and clean all bedside commodes, urinals, or bedpans. Document outcome on resident Bowel and Bladder sheets. Rinse all soiled linens before placing in laundry hampers. Assist in post-mortem care. Serve trays, feed, encourage fluids and assist residents at meals and assist with clean up after meals. Document percentage of dietary intake and fluid consumption at each meal. Offer additional fluids as needed to maintain resident hydration. Responsible for any assigned side duties such as hostessing dining room, meal ticket input in computer, stocking closets, transporting laundry and garbage. Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and transportation, including wheelchairs, and other forms of mobility. Utilize lifting equipment during resident transfers as necessary. Assist in data gathering on Nurse Aide Point of Care Computer Kiosk for MDS purposes. Accompany residents to outside appointments as necessary. Provide behavior modification techniques as necessary. Assist residents to the Activities Department for daily activities and encourage their participation. Take temperatures, collect and record intake and output, collect urine, sputum and stool specimens, obtain monthly and weekly weights as needed. Follow infection control procedures, utilizing personal protective equipment as necessary. Provide oxygen therapy under the direction of nurses. Change E tanks as needed.
