Admissions Assistant Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 yr experience in a healthcare setting. Prefer experience with PointClickCare or similar system.Admissions Assistant Job Summary:
Assist the Admissions coordinator with daily tasks an activities. Follow up on problems with an admission and report issues to Social Service, Nursing and appropriate departments. Obtain resident permission/release for media, participating in different activities coordinated by Social Service, student medical intern interviews, etc. Participate in discharge planning and be available to assist with any changes and notify appropriate departments of changes to discharge plan.
