  • Float | Somerset, PA 15501: 8-hour shifts. The Float CNA may work up to two different shifts during a two-week period and must be open to both the 2:45 PM
  • 11:15 PM and 11:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM shifts.
Job Summary:
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide daily care and support to patients and residents in a long-term care, hospital, infirmary, or residential care setting. CNAs will work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and other licensed healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living. Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals. Help residents with walking, transfers, repositioning, and mobility. Provide care to both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents. Monitor residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition to nursing staff. Assist with prescribed rehabilitation and recreational activities. Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living areas. Follow established nursing, safety, and infection-control procedures. Document care and resident information as required. Participate in required training and in-service education. Work cooperatively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Current Pennsylvania CNA certification required for positions in Long-Term Care. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience caring for geriatric or physically ill patients/residents is preferred or required based on facility requirements. Basic computer skills, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. Ability to safely assist with resident mobility and physical care.
Benefits:
