We are searching for both Part and Full Time CNA's to work in our residential program located in West Chester, PA. This position provides nursing care and facilitation services for assigned clients within each designated program location(s). The individual in this role is responsible for specific procedures and interventions for assigned clients. This position also provides services to clients which are focused on health promotion, wellness, and medical stability.Essential Duties & Functions:
Attends to the individual needs of clients which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, follow-through of stable activity pattern, or other needs in keeping with the individual's care requirements Performs various tasks involving client clinical treatment as assigned, including vital signs, weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, etc. May support or provide direct care to clients at program locations or while on medical appointments as needed Lifts, moves, and transports clients, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices. Provides care that maintains each client's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent clients, turning, repositioning immobile clients, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course, or other education that meets state certification requirements, is required Possesses a minimum of two years related work experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
