Are you excited about this Live in Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Here are some of the job highlights: As a Live-In Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Elder Care by Traditions, your day-to-day expectations will revolve around your client's care plan by providing compassionate and personalized home care to our clients. You will assist with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation, ensuring each client feels comfortable and dignified. Supervising vital signs and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse and/or family members is crucial for maintaining safety and health of your client. As a Live-In licensed CNA, you will be fostering an atmosphere that will be assisting your client with the feeling of purpose, dignity and joy. You will engage in meaningful conversations, fostering emotional connections with clients to enhance their overall well-being. Maintaining a clean and safe living environment is also part of your responsibility, preparing nutritious, tasty home-cooked meals that follow the care plan and client requests, as is ensuring medication management and timely medication reminders when required. Also, as a live-in licensed nursing assistant you will be organizing and providing transportation for doctor's appointments, outings, and errands in your own reliable vehicle. Building trust with clients and their families is essential, as is demonstrating empathy and integrity in every interaction. - Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant, license must be in good standing, must be current, not lapsed.
- Driver's license, reliable insured vehicle (must have a vehicle)
- Excellent communication skills; ability to speak and write the English language very clearly and comprehend the English language
- Experience of 2 years minimum in the home live-in setting
- Pass a background check, provide 3 references pertaining to the live-in setting
- Physically fit, aides will have a full day schedule, on their feet 10-13 hours per day
- Reside in a state that they can bring their vehicle to the case
