Qualifications for this position:

Possess a strong desire and passion for direct patient care. Must enjoy working with the elderly. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Previous direct patient care or human services experience preferred, but not required. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be available to attend all classes (held in Warwick, RI) and clinical rotation (held in East Greenwich, RI). Must be able to communicate in English, both orally and written. Reliable vehicle, automobile insurance, and valid driver's license required. Excellent attendance, dependability, and punctuality required. Availability to work for Saint Elizabeth Home or our Home Care Division for a minimum of one year (part-time or full-time) following graduation. Please note that CNA class graduates are required to maintain employment with Saint Elizabeth Community in a staff position with a minimum of 24 scheduled hours per week for a period of one year following graduation. Should your status change or employment end prior to fulfilling the one-year commitment, graduates are responsible for reimbursing Saint Elizabeth Community for the cost of their training.
