Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a PCA/CNA, where your compassionate care and technical skills will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Client is 68 and is in need of services Sunday-Saturday.

930a-1230p She does smoke (inside) Responsibilities Warming of meals, laundry and light housework. Client does have doc appts schedule some weeks but notice is asked so it can be scheduled during hours. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or wound dressing changes to prevent infection Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy or specimen collection when trained and authorized Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, contributing to patient assessments and safety protocols Support patients across various age groups—from pediatrics to geriatrics—in inpatient, outpatient, or home & community care environments Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards Experience Prior experience working in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or Level II trauma centers is highly valued Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation and patient records management Experience caring for individuals with complex needs including behavioral health issues or developmental disabilities is preferred Background in medical-surgical units, post-acute care settings, or hospice environments enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive patient support Knowledge of physiology and anatomy supports effective patient assessments and interventions Hands-on experience with specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or DME (durable medical equipment) is advantageous Certification in basic life support (BLS) is required; additional certifications like phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care!
