Overview Nirvana Dreams Healthcare Agency is a nurse-founded healthcare agency being built to change what it means to age and receive care at home. Our goal is to create a continuum of care that evolves as our clients' needs evolve —from companionship and personal care to more advanced nursing support as we expand our services. We want our clients and their families to have a trusted healthcare partner they can grow with, without having to start over every time their needs change. We are currently building our founding team of PCAs and CNAs as we launch our in-home care services and continue our expansion toward skilled nursing. For our clients—and for the people who care for them. Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful in-home care according to each client's individualized plan of care. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers as assigned. Provide companionship, supervision and meaningful social interaction. Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping related to the client's care and safety. Provide medication reminders within the caregiver's permitted scope. Observe for changes in a client's condition, behavior or needs and promptly report concerns to the appropriate agency supervisor. Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time. Use agency electronic systems for scheduling, communication and documentation. Follow infection-control, safety, emergency and confidentiality/HIPAA policies. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and families. Communicate promptly with the office regarding scheduling, availability and client concerns. Arrive on time and provide dependable coverage for accepted assignments. Comply with the agency's smoke-free and vape-free policy while working, during client visits and on client property. Help create an environment where every client feels seen, respected and cared for. Qualifications PCA, CNA or previous caregiving experience preferred. Current CNA certification is a plus but not required for all caregiver positions . Experience caring for older adults or individuals requiring assistance in the home is preferred. Compassionate, patient, dependable and professional. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow an individualized plan of care and agency policies. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned client homes. Must have a reliable, up-to-date smartphone capable of running agency-required applications for communication, scheduling and visit verification. Comfortable using basic technology. Our agency will utilize electronic/computer-based charting and documentation; training will be provided. Willing and able to learn agency technology, documentation and communication systems. Must meet applicable agency and South Carolina employment and caregiver screening requirements. Willing to complete required orientation, competency evaluation and ongoing training. Ability to safely perform the physical duties required for assigned clients. Commitment to client privacy, dignity, safety and professional boundaries. Pay & Schedule $16.00-$18.00 per hour , based on experience, credentials, shift and client assignment. Opportunities may range from part-time to full-time as our client base grows. Availability for various shifts—including days, evenings, nights and weekends—is a plus. Nirvana Dreams Healthcare Agency is growing.
