A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. What We Offer Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center is hiring a CNA for the Surgical Short Stay team ! In a Surgical Short Stay Unit CNAs play a critical role in facilitating fast-paced patient turnover. Because patients are admitted, operated on, and discharged within the same day, a CNA's primary duties focus on rapid preparation, close post-operative monitoring, and safe discharge under the supervision of a RN.

Licensure/Certification:
Completion of NAI program, Required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, Required. Medication Safety - AME, Required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, Required.
Additional skills preferred:
