Medical Assistant Job Summary:
Performs selected medical assistant and clerical duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices, and competency. Works collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. Must have one of the following certifications: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)- National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
