We are a small, faith-based ministry operating a 14-bed residential hospice house dedicated to providing compassionate, dignified end-of-life care. Our team is committed to supporting not only our patients, but also their families during one of life's most meaningful transitions.
Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers and CNAs who are comfortable working closely with patients and their families during the end-of-life stage. This role is ideal for individuals who value holistic, patient-centered care and feel called to provide comfort, presence, and dignity in a peaceful, home-like setting.
Schedule & Availability:
8-hour shifts Full-Time 3p-11p 11p-7a PT weekends available
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and repositioning Ensure patient comfort by assisting with mobility, feeding, and maintaining a calm, supportive environment Observe and report changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff Offer emotional support and presence to patients and their families during the end-of-life process Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment for residents Support the interdisciplinary team in delivering comfort-focused, individualized care Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies
Qualifications:
Experience in hospice, palliative care, or long-term care preferred but not required Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfort with end-of-life care and supporting families during the dying process Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment Why Join Us?
