Responsibilities:
Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals. Follow all HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents. Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and independence.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required. Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
