CNA/Direct Care Staff Central Texas Helping Hands - 1.0 Hewitt, TX Job Details Full-time $14 - $18 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications CPR Certification Experience working with individuals with disabilities High school diploma or GED CNA Patient transport Full Job Description Central Texas Helping Hands is a state licensed Long Term Supportive Care For Seniors & Adults with Disabilities. Our staff addresses the physical, mental and social needs of each client. We are seeking an individual who can bring energy, creativity, and compassion while working with our clients. The best candidate is one who can take initiative on the floor, be proactive with your coworkers, and lead by example to the clients. This position is high paced and must be able to lift, transport, and move clients. (A) Provides personal care services to assist with activities of daily living; (B) Assists the Activities Director with recreational activities; and (C) Provides protective supervision through observation and monitoring. (e) Training. (1) Initial training. (i) Training in the fire, disaster, and evacuation procedures within three workdays after the start of employment (ii) A minimum of 18 hours of training during the first three months after the start of employment (B) Obtain adult CPR course or certification; (ii) First Aid (iii) TB Test Pass background check upon hire and ongoing monthly checks as required by the state.
