$20.00-$22.00/hr

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

Welding:

Perform welding tasks primarily using MIG techniques to assemble or repair metal structures and equipment. Experience with MIG welding is required. Experience with other welding techniques (TIG, ARC) is preferred. Interpret and follow blueprints, specifications, and schematics to ensure accurate welds.

Quality Control:

Inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components to ensure they meet company and industry standards. Address and rectify any defects or issues in the welding process. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times.

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain and clean welding equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Welder in a similar work environment. Significant experience with MIG welding is required. Experience with other welding techniques (TIG, ARC) is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them rigorously. Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks and handle materials. Certification in welding is a plus.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational training or certification in welding is preferred.
