You will partner with a multidisciplinary team of resident care staff, positively represent our independently owned facility, provide routine care for resident comfort and contribute to their overall plan of care. Provide assistance in activities of daily living; promote individual health, including assisting residents with basic hygiene needs; maintain an optimum level of mobility and assisting residents with nutritional intake. Give a continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to fellow team members and the supervisor the status of all residents. Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and transfer residents (up to 100 pounds unassisted), bend, twist, push and pull Organization skills, ability to follow procedures Effective communication skills, interpersonal relations, problem solving and independent thinking skills Knowledge of basic hygiene and sanitation Compassion for mental and emotional well-being of all residents, their family and the staff of Live Oak. Maintain a professional relationship with the residents and their family members. Monitor routine aspects of resident care, recognize and report abnormalities and/or changes in the resident's physical and emotional health status.
