Shifts Full-Time:

6:00 AM - 2:00 PM 2:00 PM - 10:00

PM Salary:

Starting at $14.50-16.50 an hour (based on experience).

… Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Give treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed. Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated. Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed. Answer signal lights promptly. Change bed linens, make beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly Works as a member of the team. Gets along well with co-workers. Accepts change in a positive manner.

… Possess a current Texas Nurse Aide Certification ( required ) Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry required Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression. Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
