Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRICE Utah Full-Time or Part-Time | Home Health and Hospice

RETENTION BONUS

$2,000 for Full-Time CNAs!

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday and Sunday, 8am-5pm, other weekend and on-call as needed Position Summary CNS is seeking a compassionate Full-Time and or Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support Home Health and Hospice patients in the greater PRICE area. This role offers meaningful 1:1 care, greater autonomy, and the opportunity to work with a mix of adult and some pediatric patients.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly:

Starting at $18.00+, We offer more hourly based on experience, education and work history.

Retention Bonus:

$2,000 for Full-Time CNAs ($1,000 for Part-Time)

Mileage:

$0.60/mile reimbursement for qualified travel Benefits for

Full-Time:

27 total benefit days - first year

Better work-life balance than facility-based shifts and patient ratio 1:1 patient care with strong clinical support Autonomy with fewer interruptions Meaningful relationships built in the home environment Key Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to Home Health and Hospice patients including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising RN Assist with light housekeeping duties related to patient care areas Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Document care provided and patient observations accurately and timely Follow individualized care plans developed by the RN and care team Coordinate care with RNs, social workers, chaplains, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times Adhere to safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines Qualifications Current Utah CNA certification in good standing (or able to obtain upon hire) CPR/BLS certification required (or able to obtain within 30 days of hire) Home health or hospice experience preferred; pediatric experience a plus Compassionate, patient-centered approach to caregiving Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to PRICE and Park City areas Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Ability to manage field-based caseload and flexible schedule Comfort working in diverse home environments Physical Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients (up to 50 lbs frequently, more with assistance) Ability to drive throughout the PRICE and surrounding communities as needed. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods Ability to navigate stairs and various home environments Physical stamina to provide hands-on patient care throughout the day This job summary outlines the general nature and level of responsibilities and is not an exhaustive list of all duties or skills required. •PTO, Sick and Floating holiday time accrues from hire date over a 12-month period.

Retention Bonus Details:

Talk to the recruiter about the specifics of this retention bonus. Full-Time employees will receive $1,000 after six months of service following completion of training, and an additional $1,000 six months after receiving the first payout. Part-Time employees will receive $500 after six months of service following completion of training, and an additional $500 six months after receiving the first payout.
