Pay:

$12-$14 Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNA/MA Physician Support Assistant to assist a doctor during visits at a healthcare facility. The employee will gather patient information, assist with paperwork and documentation, and collect the information needed to support billing for services performed by the physician. CNA or Medical Assistant certification is not required for this position. Relevant healthcare, caregiving, clerical, or facility experience is preferred. This is a non-ADL position and does not involve bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, transferring, or other personal-care services. Responsibilities Gather patient demographic information and visit-related details. Collect information such as symptoms, medical history, medications, and reason for the visit, as directed by the physician or facility. Prepare patient paperwork and records for the doctor. Document information accurately and promptly. Organize documentation needed to support physician billing and coding. Communicate relevant patient information to the physician and facility staff. Assist with forms, chart preparation, scheduling, and patient flow. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and facility policies. Perform other administrative and physician-support duties as assigned. Qualifications CNA or Medical Assistant experience is helpful but not required . No CNA or MA certification required. Healthcare, facility, clerical, or patient-support experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills; electronic medical record experience is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and handle confidential information appropriately. Important Position Details This role does not include ADL or personal-care duties. The employee will support the physician by gathering and documenting information. The employee will not diagnose, treat, or independently provide medical services. Duties must remain within the employee's training and applicable facility policies.

Pay:

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 per week
