We're looking for a patient, dependable caregiver to support an older adult living with early-stage dementia in her Chantilly home. You'll provide companionship, prepare meals, and help her feel comfortable and supported through her afternoon and evening routine. If you enjoy conversation, preparing a meal, and bringing a calm, reassuring presence to someone's day, this could be a great fit. About the assignment Monday-Friday, 3 PM-9PM:
a consistent weekday schedule. One-on-one care focused on companionship and everyday support. Help with the evening routine and getting settled into bed. A supportive scheduling and office team. How you'll help Provide companionship, conversation, and activities suited to the client's interests. Prepare meals and help with meal cleanup. Keep commonly used areas tidy through light housekeeping. Provide medication reminders according to the care plan. Offer gentle reminders and reassurance during the evening routine. Assist with getting settled safely into bed according to the care plan. Communicate observations and changes in the client's needs to our office team. What you'll bring Valid CNA, HHA, or PCA certification in the State of Virginia . Experience supporting clients with dementia, including providing gentle reminders, reassurance, and patient guidance through daily routines. Experience with personal care, transfers, and mobility assistance. CPR certification and negative TB screening. Ability to pass a background check. Reliable transportation, a driver's license, and insurance. Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist clients safely. Availability Monday-Friday from 3 PM-9 PM. Apply today.
