Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CNAs, PCAs, and Caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional personal care and support to individuals across various care settings. In this vital role, you will assist residents with daily activities, monitor their health and well-being, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your energy and positive attitude will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve, making a meaningful difference every day. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow your caregiving skills while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report changes promptly to healthcare staff Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling during transfers Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Support residents with cognitive impairments by implementing care plans for dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs Assist with transportation for appointments or community outings using personal or facility vehicles Follow all safety procedures including first aid, CPR certification requirements, and emergency response protocols Document observations accurately in care records while respecting residents' privacy and confidentiality Assist with bedbound clients Requirements Hours requested/available:
Hampton:
Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, rotating weekends.
Newport News:
Thurs-Fri 9am-3pm, rotating weekend
Newport News:
M-Fri 8am-4pm Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience supporting individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorders, or developmental disabilities is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely using appropriate techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within healthcare settings Join us in delivering compassionate care that truly makes a difference! Pay:
$13.50 - $15.00 per hour
